Job description
Become the key Data Protection Advisor at Brunel University of London's Uxbridge Campus. Focus on subject access requests, data protection advising, and compliance in a supportive hybrid working environment. This crucial full-time role requires significant experience in data protection, ideally within Higher Education. The Advisor will lead on Subject Access Requests while collaborating with Information Champions to ensure compliance with data protection principles across all projects. Building effective relationships is essential to navigate data protection law and support staff in upholding best practices. Key Responsibilities: • Act as main contact for Subject Access Requests • Provide expertise on data protection issues in Higher Education • Investigate potential data breaches thoroughly • Support colleagues in understanding data protection responsibilities • Collaborate with Information Champions to promote compliance Requirements: • Significant experience in data protection roles • Familiarity with data protection law in practice • Ability to build effective relationships for compliance • Strong understanding of data protection principles • Eligible to live and work in the UK Maximize your impact on data privacy while advancing your career at Brunel University. #J-18808-Ljbffr
