Senior Product Manager - Open banking/ Small business banking - 102463-1 Senior Business/Professional Project Manager (The actual title for the role is Senior Product Manager)

Remote/Hybrid: Hybrid – Tuesdays are mandatory onsite and one Friday per month

Office Location: 81 Bay Street

Open Banking for Business plays a pivotal role in shaping and executing the bank’s open banking capabilities. This position is responsible for ensuring that all initiatives are closely aligned with the strategic objectives and responsive to evolving market demands. The Senior Manager collaborates with various Lines of Business (LOBs) to develop and implement strategies, identify opportunities for growth and continuous improvement. You will be responsible to effectively engage with internal stakeholders to build alignment and drive the successful rollout of open banking initiatives for Business Banking. This individual will also support ongoing Digital Initiates for Business Banking as time permits.

Key Responsibilities & Qualifications

Demonstrate 5-7 years of experience in product management, strategic planning, and project management, preferably within the financial services industry.

Depth knowledge of Business Banking, market trends, and regulatory landscape.

Experience delivering in an agile environment and managing incremental delivery to ensure business outcomes.

Exceptional business planning experience, business model development, and people change management.

Commitment to change, continuously evolving thinking and approach to deliver best outcomes. Forward‑thinking mindset and a focus on defining what’s possible.

Goal‑oriented, motivated by accomplishing objectives and delivering high‑quality results.

Ability to see beyond the moment, making impact today and tomorrow, and always seeking new opportunities for innovation.

Strong communication skills.

Understanding of business functions including project support, project leadership, partner interactions, and cross‑functional leadership.

Experience in digital implementation.

Proficiency with Microsoft Suite.

Bachelor’s degree in Business or Commerce.

Capability to lead cross‑functional collaboration and stakeholder engagement.

Product management experience: develop, refine, and communicate a clear product vision and strategy for the Open Banking platform aligned with organizational objectives and regulatory requirements.

Proven strength in business planning, business model development, and people change management.

Nice to Have

Experience with Jira.

Small business segment knowledge.

Open Banking experience.

Experience working within top 5 banks.
