Job description
Support First Nations through specialized financial analysis as a Royalty Analyst. Focus on ensuring accurate royalty reporting and compliance in alignment with regulatory standards.

This position requires in-depth knowledge of production accounting and financial systems to conduct reviews and identify discrepancies in royalty data. As an Analyst, you will play a significant role in the organization’s regulatory duties while building relationships with industry partners and First Nations, promoting accountability in financial practices.

Key Responsibilities: • Analyze and verify royalty volumetric and pricing data • Identify and resolve discrepancies in royalty submissions • Engage with First Nations and industry stakeholders • Uphold fiduciary and regulatory standards in royalty management • Ensure timely reporting of economic benefits to communities

Requirements: • Diploma in finance, accounting, or related field • Experience in royalty reporting and operational accounting • Familiarity with oil and gas industry practices • Competency in financial verification activities • CAPPA or similar certification is advantageous
