Job description
Drive community infrastructure development as an intermediate Civil Engineer. Specialize in planning and designing essential projects that foster vibrant and resilient communities across Nunavut.

This full-time role is situated in Ottawa, with 25% travel to Nunavut during the construction season. Your focus will include managing community infrastructure projects like wastewater systems and roads, ensuring they meet both technical and community needs. You'll also lead planning efforts, facilitate community engagement, and mentor junior engineers.

Key Responsibilities: • Deliver community infrastructure project designs • Lead feasibility studies and technical reporting • Collaborate with a diverse project team of specialists • Manage project schedules and stakeholder coordination • Mentor junior engineers in project execution

Requirements: • Relevant intermediate experience in civil engineering • Strong project management skills and teamwork • Familiarity with infrastructure standards in communities • Experience with community engagement initiatives • Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
