About the position: The Maintenance Technician contributes to the health team by providing daily operations, maintenance and monitoring of building systems to ensure a safe, efficient, and comfortable environment for all LLRIB Health Services clinics/facilities. The Maintenance Technician will report directly to the Operations & Maintenance Supervisor and will work with other team members. Monitor LLRIB Health Services building systems in all five communities in La Ronge, Hall Lake, Grandmothers, Bay, Little Red River, and Sucker River;
Qualifications:
Required Grade 12, related Maintenance experience, valid driver’s license, basic mechanical ability, proficient in Microsoft applications, excellent communication skills, willing to consider experience and education together,
Strong organizational skills and able to manage time and priorities; Ability to work independently or within multidisciplinary team, Experience working with First Nations communities is an asset; and previous experience working with plumbing, carpentry or general maintenance, ability to speak/understand the Woodland Cree is an asset; Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to travel in different weather conditions.
