Job description
Elevate your career with the City of Duncan as the Manager of Engineering, overseeing civil projects and asset management. Join a vibrant community focused on livability and sustainability while making an impact.

This full-time, permanent position will report to the Director of Public Works and Engineering. Key responsibilities include managing capital projects, directing Engineering Division staff, and ensuring compliance with BC regulations. You will need to demonstrate strong skills in civil engineering, asset management, and project management.

Key Responsibilities: • Oversee capital projects and development servicing • Manage asset management tasks and engineering mappings • Lead a team of technical staff and contractors • Collaborate with local governments and First Nations • Ensure public engagement in construction projects

Requirements: • Degree in Engineering or related field • Minimum five years in municipal engineering • Eligible for Engineers and Geoscientists BC membership • Strong knowledge of BC legislation • Proven leadership in unionized environments
