We’re proud of who we are and the work we do to support our communities and customers who depend on us, because ## At ENMAX, the **Senior Transmission Project Engineer** provides technical leadership across the full project lifecycle—from early concept and feasibility through detailed design, construction support, and closeout. In this role, you’ll lead and coordinate engineering deliverables such as feasibility and conceptual assessments, design scopes of work, detailed designs and design reviews, and technical support during construction and commissioning. You’ll be relied upon to navigate complex transmission line projects and their unique technical considerations, guiding cross-functional teams to safe, compliant, and high-quality outcomes with minimal oversight.## **Major Responsibilities:**Work with other groups as a subject matter expert for transmission line projects. Provide input to Asset Management, System Planning, Regulatory, Standards, Office of the Chief Engineer, and any other groups within ENMAX requiring technical expertise in Transmission projects. Work with internal and external customers and technical experts to determine the complete project scope for complex projects, including identifying all required technical deliverables, interdependencies, and any risks that are technical in nature.## Other duties as assigned.## **Education Required:**## **Qualifications & Experience:**## 10+ years of progressive experience in the areas of transmission line designStrong proficiency with PLS CADD/POLE/TOWER/CAISSON is required## HV underground line (138kV+) experience will be asset## Utility work experience will be asset## Experience with regulatory applications filings will be an asset## Experience in stakeholder engagement discussions will be an asset**Competencies:**Ability to handle and prioritize multiple concurrent projects, establish schedules, and meet commitments is required## Demonstrated ability to lead technical workstreams and coordinate multi-discipline stakeholders to deliver safe, compliant, high-quality outcomes. skills (scope definition, direction, review/acceptance of deliverables, quality assurance). ## Strong stakeholder engagement skills, including working with internal groups (Asset Management, Planning, Standards, Regulatory) and external partiesWe offer competitive compensation including a comprehensive flexible benefits program, non-downtown location that includes great building amenities such as free onsite fitness facility, onsite massage, onsite child care centre (upon availability, offered from our ENMAX Place location 141 – 50 Ave. SE), free parking and much more.
