Role Summary Reporting to the Director of Enterprise Applications, the
Senior IT Systems Integration Engineer
is a critical hire responsible for the seamless interoperability of complex enterprise systems. You will design, develop, and implement robust interfaces, APIs, and automation workflows that connect multiple platforms, ensuring high performance and data integrity across the organization.

Main Responsibilities
Architecture & Design:
Design and maintain end-to-end system integrations between enterprise applications, databases, and third-party systems.
Development:
Develop, test, and deploy APIs (REST/SOAP), middleware solutions, and automation scripts.
Collaboration:
Work closely with software developers, network engineers, and business analysts to define technical requirements and scalable architectures.
Monitoring & Troubleshooting:
Proactively monitor integration workflows to ensure reliability and resolve any performance bottlenecks or interface failures.
Lifecycle Management:
Implement best practices for version control, CI/CD, and configuration management.
Stakeholder & Vendor Management:
Act as the primary technical point of contact for internal teams and external vendors, managing expectations and negotiating technical requirements.
Security & Compliance:
Ensure all integrations adhere to strict security protocols, data privacy laws, and industry standards.
Must Haves
Experience:
5–8 years of hands-on experience in systems integration, software development, or enterprise IT environments.
Technical Stack:
Strong proficiency with APIs (REST, SOAP), web services, and middleware (e.g., MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, or Apache Camel).
Programming:
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Java, PowerShell, or Bash.
Cloud Infrastructure:
Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud (specifically Lambda or Logic Apps).
Networking/Data:
Solid understanding of networking protocols, authentication (OAuth2, SAML), and data formats (JSON, XML).
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
Nice to Haves
Certifications:
AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, or MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect.
Advanced Degree:
Master’s degree in a technical field.
DevOps:
Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
Soft Skills:
A bold, curious mindset with a high aptitude for problem-solving in agile environments.

Salary Range:
$120,000 – $140,000 per annum (commensurate with experience).
Location:
Thornhill, ON (Conveniently located right off the 404 and 407 in a beautiful new office facility).
