Job description
Overview of the Role The Salesforce Competitive Intelligence (CI) team is seeking a dynamic, organized, and execution-driven Program Manager to help scale our most critical competitive initiatives across multiple Operating Units (OUs). This individual will serve as the connective tissue across the CI team—designing and operationalizing programs that help Salesforce win against our biggest competitors through coordinated, data-driven, and repeatable actions.

This is not a traditional research role. Instead, it’s a high-impact programs role that turns insights into action—building cross-OU initiatives, driving consistency in execution, and ensuring our field teams have the competitive strategies and tools they need to win. The ideal candidate thrives in ambiguity, connects dots across complex organizations, and brings a structured approach to driving results at scale.

Responsibilities Program Strategy & Execution

Design, launch, and operationalize programs that accelerate Salesforce’s competitive motion across multiple OUs. Examples include competitive sales program, win room, enablements. Translate complex insights and ideas into scalable, repeatable programs with measurable business impact. Drive end-to-end program delivery—from design through execution, measurement, and iteration.

Cross-Functional Leadership

Act as the connective tissue between CI team, Sales Programs, & Enablement, to ensure alignment and coordinated execution on top competitive priorities. Partner across the CI team to identify gaps, prioritize focus areas, and drive unified execution across teams. Influence without authority and collaborate across senior stakeholders to drive accountability and impact.

Project Management and Operations

Build structured workback plans and manage project timelines to ensure on-time delivery across multiple workstreams. Drive operational rigor by tracking milestones, dependencies, and risks, and escalating where needed to keep projects on course. Maintain clear accountability across teams—ensuring roles, deliverables, and deadlines are understood and met. Provide regular updates and performance readouts to leadership, summarizing progress, impact, and next steps. Use data to measure program effectiveness, and refine strategies over time.

Required Skills Program Management / Sales Programs experience Fluent in English Have strong communication and presentation skills. Display strong leadership, networking, relationship-building and influencing skills. Ability to work both independently and in a larger team setting. High sense of urgency to respond to critical business questions. Curious, analytical, innovative, and wildly creative — with the execution skills to make it happen.

Education / Experience Must have 3+ years experience within the distribution org. Knowledge of sales programs & salesforce reporting preferred. BS in Computer Science, Information Management, Business Management, or equivalent work experience. Internal understanding of Salesforce’s current data/reporting/governance tools and sales processes are preferred.

Il ne s'agit pas d'un poste de recherche traditionnel. Il s'agit plutôt d'un poste à fort impact qui transforme les informations en actions concrètes : mettre en place des initiatives inter-OU, garantir la cohérence dans l'exécution et veiller à ce que nos équipes sur le terrain disposent des stratégies et des outils concurrentiels dont elles ont besoin pour s'imposer. Le candidat idéal est à l'aise dans l'ambiguïté, sait relier les points au sein d'organisations complexes et adopte une approche structurée pour générer des résultats à grande échelle.

Responsabilités Stratégie et exécution des programmes

Concevoir, lancer et mettre en œuvre des programmes qui accélèrent la dynamique concurrentielle de Salesforce à travers plusieurs unités organisationnelles. Exemples : programmes de vente concurrentiels, « win room », initiatives de mise en capacité. Traduire des informations et des idées complexes en programmes évolutifs et reproductibles ayant un impact commercial mesurable. Piloter la mise en œuvre des programmes de bout en bout, de la conception à l'exécution, en passant par la mesure et l'itération.

Leadership interfonctionnel

Assurer le lien entre l'équipe CI, les programmes commerciaux et le soutien opérationnel, afin de garantir l'alignement et la coordination de l'exécution des priorités stratégiques. Collaborer avec l'équipe CI pour identifier les lacunes, hiérarchiser les domaines d'action et piloter une exécution harmonisée entre les équipes. Exercer une influence sans autorité hiérarchique et collaborer avec les principaux décideurs pour renforcer la responsabilité et l'impact.

Gestion de projet et opérations

Élaborer des plans de travail structurés et gérer les calendriers de projet afin de garantir le respect des délais dans les différents axes de travail. Assurer la rigueur opérationnelle en suivant les jalons, les dépendances et les risques, et en remontant les problèmes si nécessaire pour maintenir les projets sur la bonne voie. Maintenir une responsabilité claire au sein des équipes, en veillant à ce que les rôles, les livrables et les délais soient compris et respectés. Fournir régulièrement des mises à jour et des rapports de performance à la direction, en résumant les progrès, l'impact et les prochaines étapes. Utiliser les données pour mesurer l'efficacité des programmes et affiner les stratégies au fil du temps.

Compétences requises Expérience en gestion de programmes / programmes de vente Maîtrise de l'anglais Posséder de solides compétences en communication et en présentation. Faire preuve de solides compétences en matière de leadership, de réseautage, de création de relations et d'influence. Capacité à travailler de manière autonome et au sein d'une équipe plus large. Sens aigu de l'urgence pour répondre aux questions commerciales critiques. Curieux, analytique, innovant et extrêmement créatif — avec les compétences opérationnelles nécessaires pour concrétiser les idées.

Formation / Expérience Au moins 3 ans d'expérience au sein d'une structure de distribution. Une connaissance des programmes de vente et des rapports Salesforce est un atout. Licence en informatique, gestion de l'information, gestion d'entreprise ou expérience professionnelle équivalente. Une bonne maîtrise des outils actuels de Salesforce en matière de données, de reporting et de gouvernance, ainsi que des processus de vente, est un atout.
