Job descriptionSenior Data Analyst We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join our team. You will derive insights for group-wide and commercial teams in order to drive actionable insights about the business. You will work alongside a group of other analysts through individual and team assignments to continually evolve the various tools, models, and data visualizations used to drive the FanDuel Group business.
In addition to the specific responsibilities outlined above, employees may be required to perform other duties as assigned by the Company to maintain operational flexibility.
Responsibilities
Be the strategic partner and data expert with Growth/CRM to drive important key insights
Work closely with stakeholders to drive collaboration and maintain strategic roadmap
Deliver key strategic projects critical to business goals for the year
Create, modify and evolve models and data visualizations to better understand and explain the day‑to‑day performance of commercial KPIs
Create and maintain automated business‑critical reporting processes visible to commercial and group‑wide teams
Participate in presentations focused on using analysis to drive new business outcomes
Field and fulfill requests for various business inquiries
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in an analytics role preferred
Bachelor's Degree in a highly numerate major (Math, Stats, Econ, etc.) or relevant experience in data and/or business analysis
Strong personal organizational and time‑management skills
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with a lot of ambiguity
Proficiency in SQL and Excel required; experience with Python preferred
Strong problem‑solving skills, with a track record of transforming data into actionable business insight
Experience working in groups and leading smaller intra‑year projects
Experience collaborating with colleagues in other countries and time zones preferred
Interest in Fantasy Sports and/or Sports Gaming preferred
Benefits Salary: $88,000 - $110,000 CAD depending on experience and location. This role may offer extended medical, vision, and dental coverage; life and disability insurance; a retirement program with employer contributions; and short‑term or long‑term incentive compensation. The position includes 12 holidays, two floating holidays, and paid sick time in accordance with applicable Canadian law.
