Job descriptionJob Description Carat Canada is seeking a forward‑thinking Director, Media Operations who brings a visionary, end‑to‑end perspective to how work flows through an organization. You will be the connective force across processes, platforms, and teams – translating complex business challenges into streamlined ways of working, modernised operations, and automated solutions that scale. Sitting at the intersection of media, data, finance, and technology, you will architect and drive integrated operating models that elevate client delivery, optimise efficiency, and ensure accuracy and transparency at every touchpoint.
What You’ll Do Client & Stakeholder Leadership
Act as the senior operational partner across enterprise accounts, supporting day‑to‑day delivery and long‑term planning
Align cross‑functional teams to client contracts, scopes, and governance expectations
Lead senior client conversations, providing clarity on operations, risk, and resolution
Financial Operations & Governance
Own end‑to‑end billing and reconciliation, including supplier management and discrepancy resolution
Ensure accurate budget delivery, spend actualisation, and proof‑of‑performance
Resolve complex financial issues (credits/debits, late payments, audit queries)
Maintain audit‑ready documentation and controls
Data & Operational Enablement
Apply strong understanding of data workflows and infrastructures supporting billing, reconciliation, and reporting
Assess data quality, traceability, and dependencies across systems
Partner with data and technology teams to drive automation and reduce manual risk
Use analytics to identify discrepancies, monitor delivery, and surface risks
Design processes with scalability and reporting in mind
Process Design & Improvement
Build and evolve scalable operating models that drive accuracy and efficiency
Identify systemic issues and lead cross‑functional improvements
Translate client requirements into clear processes and controls
Compensation & Benefits The salary range for this position is $105,000–$120,000. Actual salary within the range will be based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, and skills. A range of medical, dental, RRSP, paid time off, and/or other benefits are available to all permanent employees.
