Job description
Manage financial stewardship as a Financial Controller dedicated to non-profit organizations, ensuring operational excellence, compliance, and financial accountability.

In this key role reporting to the CEO, you will oversee the daily financial management and ensure timely reporting aligned with funding requirements. Your expertise in budgeting and analysis will enable the organization to make strategic, informed decisions. Work collaboratively with program managers to enhance budget comprehension and operational efficiencies.

Key Responsibilities: • Ensure accuracy of monthly and annual financial statements • Lead budget preparation in partnership with leadership • Oversee accounts payable, receivable, and payroll functions • Develop internal financial controls to mitigate risks • Monitor cash flow and maintain liquidity for operations

Requirements: • 3–5 years of accounting experience • Degree in accounting or finance required • Preferred CPA designation or progress towards it • Familiarity with financial management in non-profits • Valid driver’s licence necessary for travel
