Drive growth in natural gas markets with Citi as a Natural Gas Originator focused on AECO/Canada. This role emphasizes client relationship building and expanding business opportunities.
Citi is looking for a skilled Natural Gas Originator to enhance its physical and financial operations in Western markets. With a commitment to developing key client relationships, you will leverage your expertise in natural gas and cross-commodity products. This pivotal role will initially target AECO/Canada, expanding further into the Midwest and Pacific Northwest.
Key Responsibilities: • Build the West physical natural gas business in AECO/Canada • Develop key markets, including pipelines and storage providers • Cultivate E&P company relationships alongside Corporate Banking • Work on natural gas, oil, and NGL derivatives • Collaborate with internal teams to secure new business
Requirements: • 6-10 years of experience in client-facing roles • Proven track record in relationship growth and service • Entrepreneurial mindset for business origination • Strong interpersonal skills • Degree in a relevant field; Master’s preferred
