About MSCP MSCP Heat Management Solutions operates as a
system of interdependent nodes , not a traditional hierarchy. Estimating, engineering, procurement, manufacturing, and field execution are connected through the shared objective of maintaining flow and delivering reliable outcomes.
The organization is guided by
systems thinking and Theory of Constraints , where performance is measured by the ability to
manage constraints, synchronize functions, and improve throughput across the system .
Projects are not managed in isolation. They are
vehicles through which work flows , and their success depends on how well they move through the entire system, not just how well they are executed locally.
Role Overview The Project Director is responsible for ensuring that
projects move effectively through the MSCP system .
This role does not exist to oversee individual projects from a distance. It exists to
manage flow across multiple projects , align functions, and remove constraints that limit system performance.
The Project Director operates across estimating, engineering, manufacturing, and field execution, ensuring that priorities, resources, and decisions support
overall system throughput rather than isolated project success .
Success in this role is measured by:
Stability and predictability of project flow
Reduction of systemic bottlenecks and delays
Improved coordination across functions
Development and elevation of Project Managers
Growth of repeatable, long-term client work
Key Responsibilities System Flow Ownership Maintain visibility across all active and upcoming projects
Ensure work flows smoothly across estimating, engineering, procurement, manufacturing, and field execution
Identify disruptions to flow and act to restore alignment
Prioritize work based on system capacity rather than individual project pressure
Constraint Management Identify the current system constraint and adjust focus accordingly
Reallocate resources and adjust priorities to support throughput
Prevent local optimization that negatively impacts overall system performance
Escalate and resolve constraints that cannot be addressed at the Project Manager level
Coach and support Project Managers in adopting a system-based approach
Shift PM focus from task execution to coordination, communication, and client development
Provide guidance on prioritization, decision-making, and stakeholder management
Standardize practices where appropriate to improve consistency and flow
Cross-Functional Integration Ensure alignment between engineering output and field execution requirements
Support integration between manufacturing capabilities and project demand
Align procurement with actual system needs and project timing
Facilitate communication and coordination across nodes to reduce friction
Client & Strategic Alignment Maintain and develop senior-level client relationships
Align project commitments with actual system capacity and capability
Identify opportunities for repeatable work and long-term partnerships
Ensure client expectations are consistent with MSCP’s operating model
Performance & Continuous Improvement Monitor project and system performance to identify trends and recurring issues
Contribute to the development of processes, standards, and system improvements
Support the ongoing evolution of MSCP’s operating model using Theory of Constraints principles
Drive improvements that increase reliability, predictability, and throughput
Qualifications & Experience 10+ years of experience in industrial, construction, or project-based environments
Experience managing multiple projects or programs simultaneously
Strong understanding of project execution, including engineering, procurement, and field operations
Demonstrated ability to lead across functions rather than within a single discipline
Experience developing teams and mentoring Project Managers
Familiarity with systems thinking or Theory of Constraints is an asset
What Sets You Apart You think in terms of
systems, not individual projects
You naturally identify bottlenecks and focus effort where it matters most
You are comfortable making decisions that benefit the whole, not just one part
You lead through alignment and clarity rather than control
You are able to balance client needs with internal capability
High level of interaction across all functional areas of the business
Combination of office, field, and client-facing engagement
Involvement in both operational and strategic discussions
Why Join MSCP Play a central role in shaping how projects flow through a growing organization
Work within a system focused on throughput, not hierarchy
Influence the development of people, processes, and long-term client relationships
Be part of building a scalable, system-driven organization
