Job description
Manage Payroll and Benefits operations as the Associate Director supporting 13,000+ employees. Provide strategic oversight and ensure compliance in a unionized workplace environment.

This role demands dynamic leadership of the Payroll and Benefits team while fostering continuous improvement and technology enhancements. You will engage with multiple stakeholders to maintain effective relationships and ensure accurate service delivery. The Associate Director will also oversee regulatory compliance and implement payroll transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities: • Direct payroll operations for a large school district • Uphold compliance with legal and policy standards • Enhance payroll services through process improvement • Train staff and manage payroll-related risks • Cultivate equity and collaboration within the team

Requirements: • Proven experience in payroll and benefits management • Leadership in complex, unionized settings • In-depth knowledge of compliance and risk factors • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities • Capacity for driving innovative changes and efficiencies
