As a Senior Associate, your role is to ensure compliance with tax regulations and optimize tax processes for employees on international assignments. You will handle tax implications of global mobility and facilitate smooth transitions for employees across countries. Your goal is to minimize tax risks and costs while ensuring adherence to tax laws by the organization and its employees. Responsibilities
Tax Compliance & Advisory:
Prepare, review, and file tax returns for globally mobile employees, ensuring accuracy and deadlines. Provide tax and payroll advisory services to multinational companies and their employees. Collaboration & Support:
Oversee and coordinate remote project teams, ensuring collaboration across global centers to drive success and efficiency. Client & Business Development:
Act as the main contact for clients, offering tax guidance for business travelers, identifying new opportunities, and expanding relationships. Data Analysis & Reporting:
Analyze payroll data, prepare documentation for tax optimization, maintain records, stay updated on tax laws, and present findings to management, auditors, and authorities. Qualifications
At least 3 years of experience in Canadian & US individual tax planning for employees Preferred experience with cross-border movement, foreign national and expatriate issues, foreign tax compliance, and managing international assignee populations Proven ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships Strong analytical, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills Ability to work under pressure with a proactive attitude Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, International Business, Management, or Quantitative Finance Additional Information
