In this role, you will be responsible for managing several Food & Beverage clients (e.g., CPG, Foodservice, Retailers) for two of Canada's largest syndicated consumption tracking studies. You will uphold client servicing excellence, contribute to business growth, and mentor and coach junior researchers.
Responsibilities
Client Management
Act as primary account lead to multiple clients, overseeing junior members.
Handle complex conversations and project design discussions.
Ensure business retention and uncover incremental revenue opportunities.
Study Lead
Use cross tabulation, large datasets, and databases of related syndicated research data to analyze findings.
Lead final report writing, strategic client guidance, and presentation of findings.
Employee Management
Act as manager to one or more Account Managers/Senior Account Managers, overseeing training, guidance, and feedback.
Strategic Thinking
Provide strategic leadership for project teams and client account teams.
Balance client needs with optimal outcomes for Ipsos.
Oversee and support syndicated Food & Beverage clients in revenue maintenance and growth, analytical rigor, and storytelling.
Manage end-to-end reporting on analyses, aligning with client preferences.
Write proposals to grow business.
Mentor junior team members on best practices.
Qualifications
Strong client servicing skills.
Knowledge of the Food & Beverage sector (highly desired).
Confidence in client-facing roles, running independent meetings and presentations.
Superior organizational skills, attention to detail, and commitment to accuracy.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills.
Experience with hierarchical or multi-level databases (highly desired).
Knowledge of Infotools Harmoni (strong plus).
Ability to oversee multiple projects and manage workload of direct reports.
Strong team leadership and mentoring experience.
Strategic thinking regarding clients’ business and Ipsos growth opportunities.
Business development and commercial acumen mindset.
Highly motivated, self-directed, and driven personality.
Minimum of 7 years of research experience; ideally at least 5 years on the supplier side.

Compensation In accordance with Ontario & British Columbia law, the estimated base salary range for this role is $95,000 - $100,000 CAD.
