Job description
Elevate quality standards as a Mechanical Failure Analysis Specialist with O.E.M. Remanufacturing Company in Edmonton. Lead salvage processes through technical documentation and continuous improvement efforts.

This permanent position focuses on analyzing mechanical failures and aligning production with high-quality standards. As a Tech Lead in Salvage, you will create documentation that combines Caterpillar specifications with OEM practices, ensuring product accuracy. Engage with multiple teams to enhance tools and processes while driving salvage initiatives.

Key Responsibilities: • Develop clear technical documentation for salvage processes • Validate production practices with Value Streams • Produce illustrations for documentation support • Initiate salvage process audits for quality assurance • Generate warranty and condition reports for components

Requirements: • Engineering degree or Mechanical Technologist background • Proficient technical writing and research skills • Experience with heavy-duty engines or CAT equipment • Strong analytical and communication abilities • Detailed knowledge of ISO document control
