Job description
Overview Our spectacular Eldorado Resort is situated right on the shores of Okanagan Lake, a few kilometers south of the William R. Bennett bridge. Eldorado Resort consists of Hotel Eldorado, Manteo Resort, and Eldorado Marina, with world-class amenities including multiple dining outlets, fitness centres, indoor and outdoor pools, boardwalk, tennis courts, and a private beach.

Position Summary Position Summary:

Our Expeditors help create a positive guest experience through engaging interaction and quality service in our upscale dining outlets. Expeditors are expected to have an in-depth knowledge of all food and beverage items in order to answer questions about food, allergens, beverages, wine, and other restaurant functions and services.

What will you be doing?

You will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standard:

Ensure timely and efficient flow of orders from the kitchen to the front of house

Check dishes for accuracy, presentation, and temperature

Practice a high level of floor awareness and clear/clean as required

Manage the proper setup of the coffee station and expo pass

Monitor the pass, sections, and dish area to ensure all materials and areas are clean

Monitor cleanliness of silverware and glassware; clean as needed

Follow all food safety standards and systems

Empty garbage, change linen bags, and dispose of garbage and recycling

Communicate to Servers and/or leaders any comments or feedback to ensure a positive guest experience

Other duties as assigned or required

What are we looking for? To successfully fill this role, you should demonstrate the following:

Minimum of 16 years of age

Valid Serving it Right Certification

Positive attitude

Good communication skills

Committed to delivering high levels of customer service

High attention to detail

Ability to work effectively & remain calm working in fast-paced environment

Excellent time management skills

Ability to work unsupervised

Works well with a team

Takes initiative

Experience with Squirrel and OpenTable an asset

Available for a minimum of 3 days per week including evenings, weekends, and holidays
