Operations Officer II - 57817

Join a collaborative Wealth Operations team at a major financial institution in downtown Toronto as a technically-inclined Operations Officer II.

This 11-month contract (May 11, 2026 – March 26, 2027) focuses on high-accuracy, back-office processing of financial transactions, including RSP and TFSA contributions and withdrawals.

Key Qualifications
Experience: Proven background in Financial/Banking call centers or CSR roles ( 2-4 years)
Working 100% onsite in Downtown Toronto, Monday through Friday (8:30 AM – 5:00 PM)

Pay: $25.49/Hour
The selection process consists of a single virtual interview round.

Responsibilities
Financial Processing: Execute timely and accurate financial transactions (deposits and withdrawals) for client accounts, ensuring 100% data integrity.

SLA Management: Prioritize and manage a heavy workload in a fast-paced environment to meet or exceed Service Level Agreement (SLA) commitments.

Technical Support: Utilize advanced Excel skills and internal applications to manage system uploads/downloads and create End User Computing (EUC) tools.

Compliance & Risk: Adhere to strict firm and industry regulations; identify and escalate non-standard or high-risk transactions to protect client and bank interests.

Process Improvement: Participate in the analysis, testing, and implementation of new operating workflows to enhance service quality.

Collaboration: Participate in daily 30-minute team huddles and maintain clear communication with internal partners regarding project progress.

Qualifications
Advanced Excel: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required, including familiarity with Macros.

Technical Background: Strong comfort level navigating multiple software applications and a background in technical or data-driven environments.

Education: Post-secondary degree or diploma (Financial or Business-related coursework is a strong asset).

Experience: 2–4 years of overall professional experience (flexible depending on technical aptitude).


Attention to Detail: Crucial for handling high-risk money transactions and wealth documentation.

Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for internal stakeholder interaction.

Customer-Centric Mindset: A commitment to providing a "Legendary Client Experience" through accuracy and speed.

Prior experience in a Banking, Financial Institution, or Corporate office.

Specific product knowledge of RSPs and TFSAs.

Prior experience in a customer service-oriented environment (handling inquiries via email/phone).
