Looking to grow your career in Human Resources? Everest Services Centre Inc., is one of the largest franchisees within the Mr. Lube + Tires Canada Group, is hiring a bilingual Human Resources Coordinator to support our teams across British Columbia, Ontario, Quebec.
This role is ideal for someone who’s organized, detail oriented, and thrives working behind the scenes to keep people operations running smoothly. As the company enters a phase of accelerated growth, tripling in size over the next five years, you will be a trusted point of support for recruitment, immigration administration, HR operations, and employee engagement initiatives.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Human Resources and working closely with Regional and Area Managers, you will support team members at all levels of the organization.
This is a part-time role working 25-30 hours per week based in Montreal, Quebec.
What you’ll do
- Support generalist HR functions, including onboarding, and employee documentation,
- Create and maintain systems for confidential HR records
- Support recruitment initiatives, creating and posting job advertisements, screening resumes and coordinating interviews
- Act as a liaison for LMIA applications and immigration documentation
- Track work permits and compliance deadlines, maintain immigration records and ensure alignment with changing regulations
- Maintain the employee recognition program and promote engagement
- Coordinate team events and culture building initiatives
- Support HR projects and research industry best practices
What you’ll bring
- 2-3 years of experience in an HR Coordinator / HR support role
- Post-secondary diploma or certificate in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Strong bilingual communication skills in English and French (written and spoken)
- Experience handling HR data with accuracy, confidentiality, and professionalism
- Working knowledge of onboarding processes, HR documentation, and benefits administration
- Understanding of provincial employment legislation in BC, Ontario, and Quebec
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
- Experience with online tools such as SurveyMonkey and DocuSign
- Experience with Payworks and/or Rise is a strong asset
- Experience with CPA Montréal and CPA Lanaudière–Laurentides is a strong asset
- Ability to work independently while effectively supporting remote teams across Canada
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong team player with ability to build strong working relationships
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
