Job description
We are a professional, friendly family in Rangeview looking for a proactive and nurturing caregiver for our 4.5-month-old daughter, Chloe. Both my husband and I work from home in separate offices, so we are looking for a "second set of hands" to help our household run smoothly. The Role & Schedule: We are looking for approximately 19 hours per week: • 4 mornings/week: 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM (Focus on Chloe). • 1 afternoon/week: 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM (With Chloe and our 5-year-old daughter, Adele). Care & Engagement: We want someone who truly enjoys the infant stage. When Chloe is awake, we’d love for you to focus on her development - talking, singing, and age-appropriate play. She loves her stroller walks (30-45 mins) and being outdoors. For naps, she often needs to be rocked in your arms before being placed in her crib. Proactive Household Support: Because I am breastfeeding and will handle feedings, we need a multitasker who is happy to "tackle" household tasks while the baby is resting or playing independently. This includes: • Kitchen & Laundry: Keeping the kitchen tidy (loading/unloading dishwasher) and staying on top of laundry. • Meal Prep: Managing Chloe’s transition to solids and preparing dinner for both girls during the afternoon shift. If you enjoy cooking, preparing a simple warm family meal (like a soup or stew) once or twice a week is a huge plus! Compensation & Requirements: • Rate: $20 per hour. • Payment: Must be able to provide a receipt. • Environment: We are a relaxed, respectful household.
