Job description
Are you a natural leader with a strong background in distribution? We are looking for a Lead Hand to represent us in Kirkland. This role combines forklift operation and logistics coordination. You will be the key point of contact to ensure our drivers depart on time and that shipments are accurate.!!

Advantages
Monday to Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (40 hours per week).

Location: accessible by public transportation.

Work-life balance: No mandatory overtime; fixed daytime hours.

Responsibilities
As a Dock Worker, your daily tasks will include:

Loading & Inventory (Morning): From 10:00 a.m. to noon, load trailers destined for the Maritimes and accurately complete the count sheets.

Coordination (Afternoon): Communicate with drivers, record arrival and departure times, and ensure logistical follow-up.

Customer Support: Collaborate closely with the Nissan team to optimize operations and ensure on-time departures.

Material Handling: Operate the counterbalance forklift and perform general material handling tasks as required by the site.

Qualifications
Certification : Carte de cariste valide pour chariot élévateur assis (contrepoids) obligatoire.

Expérience : 1 à 2 ans d'expérience en conduite de chariot et en manutention de matériel.

Profil de leader : Capacité à prendre des initiatives, à gérer des documents de transport et à coordonner le travail des chauffeurs.

Secteur : Expérience préalable en centre de distribution ou en logistique (atout majeur).

Langues : Capacité à communiquer efficacement sur un site de client d'envergure.
