Position Overview:

ERIS is seeking a Technical Product Manager to join our dynamic, forward-thinking technology team. This is a hands-on role that blends product strategy, with product execution within a lean, high-impact environment. Reporting to the VP of Product & Technology, the successful candidate will lead the end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of our product portfolio. They will own the product roadmap, drive prioritization of key initiatives, and partner with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact solutions aligned with business objectives and evolving customer needs. This is a full-time hybrid position (35 hours per week), within the Toronto office. The position is to fulfill an existing position. The annual compensation range is $95,000 to $120,000.

Specific Responsibilities and Daily Tasks:

  • Own and lead the end-to-end delivery of software products, from initiation through release, ensuring alignment and successful outcomes across all stakeholders.
  • Define, maintain, and execute the product roadmap in alignment with organizational goals.
  • Gather and analyze customer, market, and business requirements to inform product decisions.
  • Translate strategic objectives into well-defined product initiatives and deliverables.
  • Manage and prioritize the product backlog to ensure alignment with business value and timelines.
  • Develop clear product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Lead Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning and backlog refinement.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure timely and effective product delivery.
  • Act as the primary liaison between engineering, QA, marketing, and business stakeholders.
  • Participate in technical discussions to assess feasibility, scope, and dependencies.
  • Ensure product quality through coordination of testing, QA validation, and release readiness.
  • Support product demonstrations, releases, and launch activities.
  • Partner with marketing and business teams on go-to-market planning and execution.
  • Conduct competitive analysis and market research to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for product innovation.

What Success Looks Like:

  • Full ownership of the product lifecycle from discovery through delivery.
  • A well-structured, prioritized backlog that enables efficient execution.
  • Clear alignment and communication across all stakeholders.
  • Delivery of product releases that provide measurable business and customer value.
  • Continuous improvement in product delivery processes and team collaboration.
  • You proactively identify risks, remove roadblocks, and drive continuous process improvement across teams.

Knowledge & Educational Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Product Management or a related role.
  • Proven experience working with cross-functional teams, including engineering and business stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into actionable product deliverables.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with technical products, including APIs, data integrations, or platform-based solutions, is considered an asset.

Skills:

  • Strong ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Excellent prioritization and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Experience with product management and tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).
  • Collaborative and team-oriented leadership style, fostering trust across engineering and security teams.
  • Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, and thrive in a dynamic environment while meeting internal schedules and deadlines.

What We Offer:

  • A culture based on caring, ownership, accountability, and integrity. Our teams are agile, collaborative, innovative and continually strive for excellence.
  • We encourage a healthy work-life balance in a fast-paced expanding company.
  • We treat others with respect and fairness and strive for clear and open communication at all levels.
  • We are passionate about building an inclusive and diverse workplace that others envy.
