Job description
Join the team as a Speech Language Pathology Assistant, providing essential support to the Speech Language Pathologist in fulfilling patient goals. Work with diverse individuals, including children and adults, in varied settings. In this role, you will implement SLP treatment plans, maintain accurate documentation of sessions, and develop intervention materials. Building strong relationships and maintaining confidentiality are vital. Your ability to work independently and adapt to community-based needs will be valued. Key Responsibilities: • Assist in executing SLP treatment goals • Write progress notes and document patient performance • Create and manage intervention materials • Collect and record patient response data • Foster professional relationships with stakeholders Requirements: • Secondary education in linguistics or language studies • Completion of a Post Graduate Certificate in Communicative Disorders an asset • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation needed • Legally eligible to work in Canada • 1-2 years community experience is beneficial Become a vital part of transforming the communication landscape for patients through impactful support. #J-18808-Ljbffr
