Job description
Take charge as a Senior Welding Program Manager overseeing critical nuclear projects. Ensure adherence to rigorous welding standards while fostering a culture of safety and quality. As a key leader in the nuclear sector, you will manage the welding program's integrity and effectiveness. This position involves coordinating specialized welding teams, implementing detailed processes, and collaborating with various engineering professionals to ensure project specifications are met. Your role will be essential in supporting major infrastructure developments and safety protocols. Key Responsibilities: • Direct technical welding team activities and timelines • Enforce compliance with safety and quality standards • Lead and mentor welding specialists and engineers • Review project documentation for welding specifications • Certify welding practices and maintain regulation compliance Requirements: • Minimum of 5 years in a similar role within manufacturing • Comprehensive understanding of welding codes and practices • Expertise in metallurgy and engineering materials • Knowledge of CANDU systems preferred • Proven ability to manage multiple projects effectively Utilize your skills to enhance welding operations that are vital to nuclear infrastructure safety and advancement, contributing to meaningful community impact. #J-18808-Ljbffr
