This is a flexible role with full-time and part-time schedules available, offering a great opportunity to apply your skills and grow within a hospitality setting.

What You’ll Do
Provide security coverage to help maintain a safe, secure environment for guests and staff
Monitor and respond to incidents, concerns, and unusual activity in a timely, professional manner
Support day-to-day security operations, including patrols and risk awareness throughout the property
Communicate clearly with hotel leadership and relevant team members to ensure consistent follow-through
Contribute to a positive guest experience by staying visible, approachable, and solutions-focused
Maintain accurate, timely documentation as required
What We’re Looking For
Valid BC Security Workers License
Relevant security experience and confidence working in a fast-paced hospitality environment
Strong communication skills with a calm, professional approach to conflict resolution
Reliability, good judgment, and a strong sense of responsibility
Ability to work independently while staying connected with the team

●Valid BC Security Workers License * ●Serving it Right * ●Basic First Aid (OFA 1) * ●Flexible availability including afternoons, evenings (*Must be available weekends*) * ●2 years of related experience * ●The ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time * ●Conduct patrols of various areas * ●Knowledge of security protocol and procedures * ●Professional approach to the role; acting in a disciplined, honest and ethical manner * ●Possess sound judgement and decision-making skills, with a ‘hands on’ approach to problem solving; strong conflict resolution skills required * ●A calm demeanor * ●Possess strong knowledge of security procedures * ●Strong observation and communication skills * ●Proficient in the English language (verbal & written)
