Position Responsibilities:

• Collect all job-related information, including job name, production type, job dates and job contact information, working in conjunction with the applicable sales team member(s).

• Assist, when applicable, in the collection of all required customer information, including insurance certification, customer contacts, shipping and billing addresses.

• Receive equipment requests from customers (primarily via phone/email).

• Enter equipment orders and generate quotes for projects as needed.

• Receive approval from customers for all rentals, and any associated costs.

• Procure and process any required subrentals ensuring accurate pricing, PO creation, and communication with clients, vendors, and shipping teams.

• Provide day to day support to productions.

• Communicate any equipment request changes with production staff in a timely manner. Ensure all pricing/costs associated with any changes are approved by the customer prior to the release of equipment.

• Liaise with the Camera team (including prep technicians, technicians and driver) during camera preps.

• Process missing and damaged reports for equipment returns, sending the reports to production for approval of payment.

• Aid in the appropriate billing of orders (rentals and L&D) by ensuring their accuracy and correct billing information is on hand.

• Update camera production related information on Salesforce.

• Keep accurate and up-to-date records within the computer system and paperwork back-up.

• Field any customer concerns or complaints and ensure all concerns or complaints are addressed in a timely manner.

• Remain updated on new equipment and technologies, and their uses, in order to aid customers.

• Ensure that all departmental policies and procedures are followed.

• Create a work environment that fosters creativity, ingenuity and high staff morale.

• Other duties as required.

Requirements:

Education & Experience:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience working in a motion picture industry rental house in a client-facing Camera-specific CSR role, using a rental software program.

• Working knowledge of high-end digital cinema camera equipment (ARRI and SONY camera technology specifically), various lensing/optics options, and all associated support.

• Working knowledge of motion picture industry production workflow and processes.

• Post-secondary education in a motion picture industry related program would be considered an asset.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. Excel, Word, etc.).

• Must be willing to work flexible hours.

• Must have strong organizational, interpersonal, and multitasking skills.

• Must have the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Pay Rate: $26.00 / hr

Physical Demands:

Must be able to bend, squat, crouch and/or reach and lift up to 25 pounds or more, as required by the job. Some Sunbelt jobs may require driving for long periods of time, loading and unloading heavy equipment, performing work in extreme weather conditions including rain, wind or excessive temperatures and/or night and weekend work. All duties must be performed according to Sunbelt’s safety policies and guidelines. Reasonable accommodations may be made to comply with ADA/ADAAA.

The hourly wage depends on the agreed rate under the terms of the collective bargaining agreement for this location.
