Job description
We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join a team in the Construction industry, located in Milton.

Title: Accounts Payable Specialist
Location: Milton
Industry: Construction
Type: Contract
Duration: 3-month contract potential to extend.

Responsibilities
In this Accounts Payable Specialist role in Milton, you will be responsible for the following:
- Verify and reconcile invoices against purchase orders and delivery receipts
- Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records
- Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations
- Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve any discrepancies or issues
- Assist with month-end closing processes and audits
- Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date
- Prepare and process expense reports

Qualifications
In this Accounts Payable Specialist role in Milton, you will be required to have the following:
- Minimum 2 year of experience processing full-cycle AP.
- Experience with vendor management is a strong asset.
- Experience using major ERP systems is required (SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics, etc).
- Requires critical thinking and an analytical mindset.
- Must have strong communication skills and excellent comprehension skills.
