Security Installation Technician

Location: Vancouver, Burnaby, Mission (must be willing to commute)

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Compensation: $25 – $45/hour (based on experience)

The Opportunity

We are seeking a Security Installation Technician to join a growing security division. This is a hands-on role working on commercial and active construction sites, installing and servicing low-voltage security systems. Ideal for someone who enjoys field work, problem-solving, and working with modern security technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and service security systems (CCTV, access control, and related devices)
• Run, terminate, and test low-voltage cabling
• Read and interpret drawings, layouts, and specifications
• Troubleshoot basic wiring and system issues
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized job site

What You Bring

• Experience with low-voltage/security system installation (entry-level to 5+ years welcome)
• Ability to read construction drawings and follow specifications
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between job sites
• Positive attitude and team-oriented approach

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive hourly wage:
  • $25/hr (entry-level)
  • $40–$45/hr (5+ years experience)
