Objectif:

Fournir un soutien pour les instruments de laboratoire et les produits associés vendus par Bio‑Rad Laboratories, avec un accès à des programmes de formation globaux conçus pour développer l’expertise et favoriser la croissance professionnelle. Ce poste offre une occasion unique, car vous agirez à titre de ressource technique clé pour le marché canadien. En tant que leader et ambassadeur de Bio‑Rad, vous contribuerez à promouvoir les meilleures pratiques, à soutenir l’adoption de solutions innovantes et à jouer un rôle privilégié afin d’assurer que les clients à travers le Canada bénéficient pleinement de l’engagement de Bio‑Rad envers l’excellence scientifique et l’impact sociétal positif.

Comment vous aurez un impact:

  • Installation : Coordonne les installations avec les clients, installe les nouveaux produits et instruments (de table) et s’assure de la connectivité SIL
  • Développe, coordonne et exécute les formations clients sur l’utilisation, le service et les formations avancées pour les utilisateurs des instruments et produits désignés de Bio‑Rad Laboratories, selon les besoins. Fournit un suivi après l’installation et après la formation.
  • Procédures / protocoles de validation : Travaille directement avec le client afin de créer la documentation de service requise pour répondre aux exigences réglementaires (Santé Canada, FDA) liées à l’installation et à la performance des systèmes
  • Interagit avec : le personnel du service technique, le personnel de service sur le terrain, les départements des ventes et du marketing, les services à la clientèle et la distribution au sein de l’entreprise, ainsi qu’avec les clients.
  • Agit à titre de personne‑ressource pour les clients de Bio‑Rad (internes et externes au Canada) concernant les produits/systèmes Bio‑Rad désignés et fournit aux clients les connaissances, l’information et le soutien nécessaires.
  • Effectue des visites périodiques chez les clients afin de s’assurer qu’ils exploitent pleinement le potentiel de leurs produits Bio‑Rad et de prévenir toute mauvaise utilisation. Identifie les besoins des clients et y répond par des formations additionnelles afin de minimiser les interventions de service sur le terrain.
  • Assiste les gestionnaires commerciaux lors de congrès ou chez les clients en réalisant des démonstrations de produits et des présentations, et adapte le contenu aux publics ciblés.
  • Rend compte des activités terrain et soumet la documentation requise conformément aux exigences de rapport définies par et pour le gestionnaire de service.
  • Effectue toute autre tâche ou responsabilité assignée.

Ce que vous apportez :

  • Diplôme en technologie médicale avec 3 ans d’expérience ou baccalauréat (B.Sc.) en technologie médicale avec 1 an d’expérience. Expérience avec des techniques bio-analytiques telles que l’immunologie et/ou des analyses enzymatiques dans un environnement diagnostic/clinique est requis.
  • Expérience de travail pertinente dans un laboratoire clinique ou une entreprise de diagnostic.
  • Capacité à faire preuve de flexibilité, d’ouverture d’esprit et de résilience dans un environnement en constante évolution
  • Excellentes compétences de communication orale et écrite en anglais.
  • Bonnes compétences de communication orale et écrite en français. Capable de travailler seul ou en équipe, avec un minimum de supervision.
  • Flexibilité requise pour les déplacements (environ 60 %), tant au niveau national qu’international. Le candidat doit être en mesure de travailler en Ontario environ 50 % du temps. Excellentes compétences organisationnelles.
  • Compétences informatiques bien développées.

Currently, the Diagnostics Division of Bio-Rad Laboratories (Canada) is looking for the best candidate to fill the position of Diagnostic System Specialist.

Basic Purpose: Provides support for Laboratory instruments and associated products sold by Bio-Rad Laboratories with access to global training programs designed to build product expertise and professional growth. This role offers a unique opportunity as you will serve as a key technical resource for the Canadian market. Acting as a leader and ambassador for Bio‑Rad, you will help drive best practices, support the successful adoption of innovative solutions, and play a privileged role in ensuring customers across Canada fully benefit from Bio‑Rad’s commitment to scientific excellence and positive societal impact.

***This position can be located in Toronto or Montreal.***

General Duties and Responsibilities

  • Installation: Coordinates installations with customers, Installs new products and bench top instruments and ensure LIS connectivity
  • Develops, coordinates and executes customer operation, service and advance user trainings for designated Bio-Rad Laboratories instruments and products as required. Provides post-installation and post-training follow-ups.
  • Validation Procedures/Protocol: Works directly with client to create service documentation to meet regulatory (Health Canada, FDA) requirements for installation and system performance
  • Interacts with: Technical Service personnel, Field Service personnel, Sales and Marketing departments, Customer Services and distribution within the company, as well as customers.
  • Serves as a resource person to Bio-Rad customers (Internal and external within Canada) on designated Bio-Rad products/systems and provide customers with the necessary knowledge, information and support.
  • Performs periodic customer visits to ensure customers are exploiting the full potential of their Bio-Rad product and prevent misuse. Identifies and responds to customers’ needs with additional training to minimize required field interventions.
  • Assists Business Managers at conventions or at customer location with product demonstrations and presentations and adapts content to specific audiences.
  • Will report field activities and submit required documentation on all reporting requirements as designated by and to the Service Manager.
  • Perform other tasks and duties as assigned.

What the Candidate brings:

  • Degree in Medical Technology with 3 years’ experience or BS degree in Medical Technology with 1 year experience.
  • Experience with bioanalytical techniques such as immunoassays and/or enzymatic assays in a diagnostic/clinical setting is required.
  • Ability to remain flexible, open‑minded, and resilient while working in a constantly changing environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication in English.
  • Good oral and written communication in French
  • Capable of working alone as well as part of a team, with minimal supervision.
  • Travelling flexibility required (about 60%) both domestically and internationally. Candidate must be able and willing to work in Ontario (about 50%) of the time.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Well-developed computer skills.
