🌿 Join Our Dynamic Montessori Team!French Instructor2026-27 School YearBoundary Bay Montessori School (BBMS), nestled in the pastoral landscape of Delta, BC with stunning views of the Cascade Mountains, is seeking an inspired Montessori educator to join our supportive, collaborative, and innovative teaching community.Since 1990, BBMS has offered authentic Montessori programs from Nido through Upper Elementary. Our school thrives on teamwork, professional excellence, and a shared passion for nurturing children’s independence, curiosity, and love of learning.If you value a workplace where mentorship, professionalism, and joy in teaching are at the heart of daily life, we’d love to hear from you. 🌟 PositionFrench Instructor for Gr 1-7 Start Date: September 8, 2026 – June 15, 2027 ✔️ What We’re Looking For● Bachelor’s Degree preferred● Experience teaching French in an elementary setting● Eligibility for BC Teacher Regulation Branch certification (if applicable)● Legally able to work in Canada● Current Criminal Record Check & First Aid Certification 🌱 Your Role● Create a fun and engaging informal French program for students in Gr 1-4● Develop and implement French language instruction for students in Gr 5-7 that meets BC Ministry of Education learning and reporting requirements● Prepare informal and formal reports that adhere to the BC Reporting Policy● Foster a warm, respectful, and developmentally rich community ● Communicate effectively with families and maintain required documentation 🎁 What We Offer● Continuing contract after successful two-year cycle● Competitive hourly wage, starting at $40/hr, commensurate with education and experience● A vibrant, experienced team that values collaboration 📬 How to ApplyPlease include:● Cover Letter● Resume● 3 References● Relevant certifications Send applications to: Kate Baldwin, Head of School 📧 headofschool@bbmschool.ca
