About the role:

The Canadian Major Account team is working together to help our clients achieve their sustainability safety and efficiency goals. We are working closely with Canadas largest employers to make a positive impact on their operations.

In this role you will:

  • Own customer engagements end-to-end from prospecting qualification and trial to close
  • Leverage Samsaras award winning Business Value Customer Success Management and Leadership teams to effectively close large complex opportunities
  • Generate pipeline through strategic outbound prospecting as well as receive leads from our account development team
  • Target Eastern Canadas largest operational customers
  • Champion role model and embed Samsaras cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success Build for the Long Term Adopt a Growth Mindset Be Inclusive Win as a Team) as we scale globally and across new offices

Minimum requirements for the role:

  • 5 years experience in a senior SaaS sales role
  • Proven track record of consistent quota over-achievement
  • Experience handling and owning large complex deals
  • Comfortable in a rapidly changing high-growth tech environment
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • High comfort closing transactions of up to $1M ACV in size
  • Experience with building out a new territory and acquiring new high value target accounts

An ideal candidate also has:

  • Thirst for learning
  • Ability to relate to clients at all levels of an organization
  • Ability to quarterback a large geographically dispersed team
