Job Title: Personal Lines Insurance Broker – Auto & Home
Status: Permanent, Full-Time
Salary: Competitive + Commission + Group Insurance + RRSP
This position is hybrid (2 days per week in the office).
Responsibilities
Receive and handle incoming client calls, responding to their needs with professionalism and care.
Advise clients and sell property and casualty insurance products by recommending solutions tailored to their needs.
Prepare quotes and finalize insurance offers using the systems of various insurers.
Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets while ensuring optimal client satisfaction.
Deliver exceptional customer service by providing personalized support and maintaining thorough follow-ups on client files.
Manage policy renewals and endorsements, ensuring that client coverage remains appropriate.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with partner insurers to optimize the solutions offered to clients.
Assist clients with the claims process, guiding them through each step to ensure efficient handling.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
Actively contribute to the company’s growth by identifying business opportunities and supporting continuous service improvement.
Perform other related tasks to ensure a smooth and optimal client experience.
What We Are Looking For
Minimum 2 years of experience in property and casualty insurance, preferably in a brokerage environment.
Valid license from the Autorité des marchés financiers as a personal lines damage insurance broker or agent.
Registered Insurance Brokers of Ontario license (a strong asset).
Passion for sales and customer service, with a genuine desire to help clients find the best protection.
Strong organizational skills and autonomy, with the ability to manage multiple files simultaneously.
Analytical mindset and ability to quickly find solutions tailored to client needs.
Proficiency with computer systems and ability to adapt to new technologies.
Ability to thrive in a dynamic and evolving work environment where your skills will be fully valued.
