Job description
Sunrise Farms is a group of companies with primary focus in the poultry industry.From our hatcheries to our “ready to eat” state of the art cooking facilities we service customers in the retail, food service and industrial sectors. We are proud of our support of the Canadian farm as well as our investment in the latest equipment and technologies at our facilities across Canada. Our test kitchens have the most current cooking equipment replicating that used in commercial establishments, to facilitate precision testing. This way you know the product you receive will perform to your expectations. We are proud of our long-standing partnerships with family-owned Canadian chicken farmers to produce high quality products.We are seeking an Order Clerk for our Shipping department. This will be a full time position. Schedule : 4am - 12:30pm

Responsibilities

  • Picking orders accurate and timely
  • Keeping the product in the cooler rotated properly by date
  • Informing Production Managers of old products
  • Keeping the return rack empty and clean
  • Removing product from the production floor to cooler and vice versa
  • Processing all returns & N/F
  • Cleaning and organizing the cooler and empty garbage cans daily
  • Assist order clerks if needed
  • Assist shipper if needed and fill out load sheet accurately
  • Keep track of products loaded onto trailers for storage and pass list onto Production Managers at end of shift

Requirements

  • Must be able to do heavy lifting (sorting and restacking of products)
  • Must be power jack operator certified
  • Must be able to work at a fast pace and be organized
  • Must be able to speak and write English fluently
  • Must have computer skills to fill out daily inventory reports
