Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Shift, Days Starting Wage: $25.00/per hour and up based on experience Location: Surrey, BC IEM Canada, (Industrial Electric Manufacturing, Inc.) in Surrey, BC, is the largest independent full-line manufacturer of custom electrical distribution and power quality equipment in North America. The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for implementing quality control systems designed to ensure our products meet applicable industry quality standards.
Quality Control Inspector responsibilities include making certain that the production and manufacturing processes are performed to meet quality standards, performing inspection of equipment and components at various stages of the production cycle, and maintaining ISO 9001 required documentation as well as regulatory listings and markings.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: · Perform standard inspections independently within assigned product scope, including, but not limited to performing inspections and taking photos throughout the production cycle, including in-process, and final inspection, before shipment.
Vision: Visual ability to read fine prints, drawings, labels, and inspect small components Mental Demands: Interpret, analyze, research and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Environment: Shop/warehouse.
Not climate controlled.
Exposure to excessive heat and cold, Wet/humid conditions, noise/vibration, hazards, dust and fumes.
