We are Kayla, Colin, Hayden (5), and Noah (4). We are a warm and loving family in St. Albert, Alberta seeking a nurturing and responsible nanny to join our household. Our ideal candidate should be trustworthy and experienced, with a genuine love for children. The role involves caring for our two delightful children, both in primary school, and some light housekeeping duties. The position can be live-in or live-out, depending on your preference, and is part-time with the potential for additional hours. We require assistance with before and after school care, meal preparation, and some overnight care on occasion. If you are passionate about working with children and are proficient in providing attentive care and reliable support, we encourage you to message us. We look forward to welcoming someone into our home who is eager to become a valued part of our family. We are still figuring out the schedule we require, and are open to suggestions / preferences so we can all find the perfect balance! Colin works a 4-on 4-off schedule, and Kayla works Monday to Friday. On the days Colin isn’t home we would be looking for 1.5 hours in the morning (Getting the boys up and dressed, fed, lunches packed, dropped off at school). On every week day we would be looking for about 3-4 hours of care (pickup boys from school, making dinner, and light housework such as tidying toys and washing dishes). If the right candidate prefers not to do mornings we can work with that! We would like the flexibility of having a couple overnights a month so we can get out for date nights. We also try to travel a couple times a year without the kids, and would need 1-2 weeks of full time care while we are away. If you need a live-in position we can certainly accommodate - you would have your own room and bathroom. You would also be able to do other work / nannying during your off-hours, as long as you could be available for planned overnights / vacation care.
