Job description
We’re looking for a part-time helper in the afternoon to support our home with a 50/50 mix of childcare and household tasks ($22–$25/hr). The role involves rotating between engaging with our 16-month-old and handling chores like dishwasher cycles, flipping laundry, and general tidying. This works best for someone who is comfortable shifting gears independently depending on what the day needs. We'll need about 3-4 hours of help per day for 3-4 days a week. For household tasks, the focus is on keeping main areas tidy and occasionally tackling "deep dives" like cleaning the fridge or bathrooms. You won’t need to worry about meal prep or folding laundry, but we really appreciate someone who can spot what needs a quick clean without needing a list. Since we both work from home, we’re looking for someone who is happy to operate independently. Having your own transportation and experience with toddlers is important for this role.
