We are seeking a skilled Assembly Worker / Machine Operator to join our manufacturing partner in Brantford. In this versatile role, you will support key production operations ranging from essential machine shop tasks to detailed fabrication. You will work directly with raw materials to produce high-standard finished goods in a safety-first, quality-driven environment. This position offers a dependable day shift schedule, perfect for candidates seeking stable hours and rewarding, hands-on work.

Responsibilities
- Safely operate various manufacturing machines to produce high-quality parts, including cutting, shaping, and assembling metal or plastic components.
- Read and interpret basic technical drawings, work orders, and process sheets to setup and complete machining and assembly tasks.
- Perform detailed quality checks using calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify finished products match technical blueprints and tight tolerances.
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace and perform basic machine maintenance to ensure smooth, safe operations.
- Strictly adhere to all health and safety policies, including wearing required PPE at all times.
- Partner with team members and supervisors to troubleshoot floor issues and improve daily workflow efficiency.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience suing hand tools, power tools, and strong mechanical aptitude.
- Attention to detail and a safety first mindset.
- Math skills and ability to interpret blueprints.
- Physically able to stand and lift up to 50lbs as needed.
