Join us and help shape the future of transportation with AtkinsRéalis, a company committed to designing a better future for the planet and its communities.

Your Role

  • Participate, as part of the Rail Infrastructure team, in multidisciplinary projects involving the design, construction, assessment, rehabilitation, and study of railway infrastructure, including track and associated components.
  • Produce technical deliverables such as drawings, plans, technical reports, and specifications.
  • Apply and promote quality best practices in the preparation of technical deliverables.
  • Perform technical calculations, verifications, and document reviews, and participate in quality control processes.
  • Support the training and mentoring of technicians or new team members.
  • Coordinate or contribute to the work of small technical teams in the production of deliverables.
  • Review and analyze received data such as topographic surveys, supplier documentation, and material information.
  • Contribute to bids and proposals related to your area of expertise.
  • Perform 3D modelling.

About You

  • College diploma (DEC) or a relevant technical certificate (civil engineering, infrastructure, technical drafting, or equivalent).
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in computer-aided design, including AutoCAD and/or Bentley (2D and 3D).
  • Experience with track geometry, horizontal and vertical alignment, best-fit analysis, assemblies, and corridors.
  • Ability to work with survey data and extract relevant measurements for assessing existing conditions.
  • Knowledge of North American railway environments (a strong asset).
  • Experience with CAD automation or specialized tool programming (an asset).
  • Ability to work in French; knowledge of English is an asset for pan-Canadian projects.

* This position requires knowledge of a language other than French, namely English, as the deliverables are intended for audiences located elsewhere in Canada or internationally.
