Job description

Title: Marketing Manager, Planning & Execution
Location: Toronto, ON/Hybrid
Duration: 12+ Months

We’re looking for a hungry, ambitious Marketer to help bring the Everyday Banking Marketing team to the next level. The role will help define and develop marketing campaign strategies that strengthen the Everyday Banking acquisition portfolio, maximize revenue, and optimize the customer experience.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Typically between 2 – 4 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in a related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in project management.
  • Experience in, and advanced knowledge of, the financial services industry.
  • Verbal & written communication skills - In-depth.
  • Collaboration & team skills - In-depth.
  • Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

  • Advertising and/or creative agency experience an asset.
  • Specialized knowledge from education and/or business experience.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills - In-depth.
  • Influence skills - In-depth.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Works collaboratively with business/groups on the strategic development, execution, and measurement of traditional and non-traditional customer-focused advertising, production, merchandising, and communications campaigns.
  • Provides information and direction for media and creative development, and ensures brand and governance standards are met in all solutions.
  • Oversees the development of advertising, promotional, and communications material.
  • Collaborates with external agency partners to deliver business objectives.
  • Ensures consistency in solutions and across marketing channels, media, and platforms.
  • Collaborates with internal/external stakeholders to develop monitoring and tracking plans for external advertising initiatives.
  • Ensures compliance with internal frameworks, standards, guidelines, and governance.
  • Thinks creatively and proposes new solutions.
  • Exercises judgment to identify, diagnose, and solve problems within given rules.
  • Works mostly independently.
  • Broader work or accountabilities may be assigned as needed.
  • Take measured risks while protecting the bank by applying our Risk Management Framework in the execution of your role.
