You’ll help keep critical platforms secure, reliable, and high‑performing, while contributing to modernization and automation initiatives.

What you will do:

  • Provide day‑to‑day operational support for enterprise network and voice/video services, including LAN/WAN, VPNs, firewalls, SD‑WAN, MPLS, and collaboration platforms.
  • Monitor network performance and availability, responding to incidents, performing troubleshooting, and taking corrective action to minimize service impact.
  • Investigate and resolve complex network issues, escalate high‑risk or cross‑platform problems to senior specialists or infrastructure leads as required.
  • Support network lifecycle and modernization initiatives, including platform upgrades, workload migrations, and data‑center or hybrid cloud connectivity projects.
  • Maintain network security controls in alignment with enterprise cybersecurity standards, including vulnerability remediation, patching, and secure configuration practices.
  • Contribute to disaster recovery and service resiliency by supporting recovery planning, testing, and validation of network services.
  • Support the evolution of the enterprise security posture by implementing and maintaining Zero Trust architecture principles, including identity-based access controls and secure edge access.
  • Maintain documentation, automation, and operational procedures as well as collaborating with infrastructure and application teams to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.

What you should have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. An equivalent combination of education and/or experience can be considered.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in enterprise IT infrastructure or systems administration roles.
  • Practical experience supporting multiple infrastructure domains, such as networking, virtualization, storage and backup, disaster recovery, and databases.
  • Experience supporting on‑premises and hybrid cloud environments, with an understanding of modern infrastructure operations.
  • Working knowledge of ITSM processes (incident, problem, and change management) and operational support models.
  • Strong troubleshooting, automation, and communication skills, including scripting (e.g., Ansible) and the ability to clearly explain technical issues to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

Technologies:

  • Cloud & Hybrid Infrastructure – Microsoft Azure and on‑premises to cloud integration.
  • Automation & Monitoring – Ansible scripting and infrastructure monitoring/operational tools.
  • Network Security & Zero Trust – Implementation of STNA, SASE, Identity-aware Proxies and advance firewall policies enforcing continuous authentication.

It would be great if you also had:

  • Experience supporting enterprise infrastructure environments across one or more domains (networking, virtualization, storage, backup, or databases), with awareness of enterprise architecture and standardization practices.
  • Exposure to regulated or security‑sensitive environments, including participation in audit, compliance, or security remediation activities, along with familiarity with IT service management concepts.
  • Familiarity with hybrid cloud concepts and progression toward relevant industry certifications (e.g., Microsoft, VMware, Azure, networking), with ITIL Foundation considered an asset.

Posting closing date: Note, the competition will remain active until filled.
