The Department
The Department of Practical Nurse and Health Care Aide offers the Practical Nurse Program and the Health Care Aide Program. Housed in the state of the art Health Education Centre located inside the Grande Prairie Regional Hospital (GPRH), students benefit from smaller class sizes coupled with high-quality personalized instruction on-site at GPRH, ensuring ample opportunities for the learners of our region and students from across Canada and around the world.
The Role
The Department of Practical Nurse and Health Care Aide is looking for one or more part-time sessional instructors to teach within clinical, lab and lecture based settings within their Practical Nurse and Health Care Aide programs. These positions will be available dependant upon need throughout the Academic year (August 15, 2026 to August 14, 2027). This may include instruction in the fall and/or winter semesters and spring /summer sessions.
Courses assigned will be relevant to each applicant’s background, qualifications and experience. Applicants will be reviewed on an ongoing basis with selection for positions to occur throughout the academic year.
