Job description

Position Description:

Location: Open to anywhere in Canada within proximity to CGI office to accommodate a hybrid work model

We are looking for a Senior Microsoft Specialist to join our team and help our clients create strategies to roll out Microsoft products and support them through execution.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Core Role Responsibilities

· Work with clients to assess their Microsoft environment, develop governance plans for Microsoft , and help implement solutions to drive better user adoption;
· Work with clients to design, architect, build, and rollout SharePoint (Online) Intranets and Collaboration environments in SharePoint or Microsoft Teams;
· Professional correspondence (written and verbal) with project stakeholders, vendors, and clients.
· Serve as the go-to Subject Matter Expert representing Microsoft , providing recommendations and solutions to facilitate decision-making.
· Support training efforts for Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Yammer, Viva, and others in the Microsoft stack, and occasionally, to other related topics (e.g., security awareness, governance) and technologies (e.g., Zoom, Slack, Google Suite).
· Create professional documentation, including end-user guides, diagrams, and tech spec sheets, as part of the project scope and as required to ensure consistent quality remote support by any member of the Service Delivery Team.
· Deliver workshops and live events (online and, occasionally, in person) to demonstrate the value of Microsoft and train users/M administrators.
· Leverage your subject matter expertise to provide technical contributions to Statements of Work (SOW), client roadmaps, and RFP responses where needed.
· Keep track of project tasks, budget, and overall execution of project activities.
· Establish and manage client expectations while maintaining a positive, proactive, professional demeanour.
· Perform additional responsibilities as directed by management in relation to area of expertise.
· Bachelors degree and or equivalent experience.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

· Experience consulting with or encouraging others to use Microsoft Teams, SharePoint and/or other workplace/productivity technology tools to improve work practices or work securely.
· Real-life experience in Microsoft governance and experience with M administration with a passion for helping users succeed.
· 5 years or more of demonstrated experience with SharePoint (On-prem and online), SharePoint Intranets, Microsoft Teams, Viva, Microsoft , Power Platform. and Microsoft Purview, and Entra ID
· Excellent communication/training skills.
· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential.
· Comfortable engaging and sharing your passion with people via video calls or online meetings.
· Experience running projects, keeping track of tasks, and supporting customers to ensure timely execution of projects.
Ability to obtain Federal level reliability clearance (an asset)

CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications.
