Who we're looking for:

Rogers is seeking a Cyber Security Architect to join the Cyber Security Architecture team, responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory, governmental, and industry security standards across Rogers’ service and enterprise networks. These networks support critical infrastructure delivering High-Speed Internet, IPTV, Digital TV, Wireless & Wireline Services, and Enterprise offerings.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Security Architecture at the Rogers Brampton Campus, this role will support the development and governance of Identity & Access Management (IAM) architecture while contributing to broader cybersecurity initiatives across cloud, data, network, and emerging technologies.

What you'll do:

• Support the development, governance, and continuous improvement of the enterprise IAM security strategy, architecture, and multi year roadmap across cloud, on premises, and hybrid environments.
• Support the development, governance, and continuous improvement of the Rogers Bank security strategy, architecture, and multi year roadmap across cloud, on premises, and hybrid environments.
• Evaluate, design, and support IAM capabilities including Tier 0 access, PAM, PIM, cloud IAM, federation, SSO, MFA, and identity governance while utilizing zero trust and defence in depth principles.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, engineering teams, vendors, and regulators to identify risks, remediate vulnerabilities, and mature cybersecurity posture.
• Participate in architecture reviews, penetration testing, red/blue team exercises, and monitor emerging threats and regulatory changes.
• Provide technical leadership and clearly communicate security risks and recommendations to IAM engineers, cybersecurity teams, and senior leadership.

What you bring:

• Undergraduate degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• 3-5+ years of cybersecurity experience in complex, multi-disciplinary environments.
• Interest to develop expertise in IAM domains including Tier-0 access, PAM/PIM, cloud IAM, federation, SSO, MFA, and identity governance.
• Understanding of Zero Trust frameworks and their application to identity, network, and data security.
• Experience with IAM platforms such as Azure AD, SailPoint, and CyberArk.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence enterprise architecture decisions.
• Experience or willingness to learn about multiple security domains including API security, cloud-native security, data protection, and AI/ML-driven threat detection.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for executive and non-technical audiences.
