Job description
We are a family seeking a reliable, part-time housekeeper to help keep our home running smoothly. We are located in Bel-Aire, Calgary. ****I wont respond to general inquiries, or to individuals that don’t have a profile photo. Schedule • 2 days per week, between the hours of 8 AM and 5 PM • 5-8 hour shifts depending on your availability. I’m thinking 12-16hours TOTAL • Days are flexible except Wednesdays (not available as our cleaner comes that day) • This role is not full-time and is best suited to someone filling a gap in their existing work week Primary Responsibilities (approx. 80% of the role) • Laundry (washing, folding, putting away) • Tidying and organizing common areas • Making beds • Putting away groceries • Light household upkeep • No deep cleaning required A full list of duties can be provided upon contact. Additional / Occasional Support • Light meal prep (an asset) • Occasionally helping with children in short moments (e.g., holding a baby or entertaining a toddler briefly while a parent settles the other child. Or keeping an eye on the baby monitor if a child is napping and I take the other child for a run in the baby jogger, etc.) Please note: this is primarily a housekeeping role, not a childcare position. About Our Home • I am a stay-at-home mom and will usually be home while you are here • Two young children in the home • Calm, respectful working environment Ideal Candidate • Intermediate English or higher • Non-smoker • Able to provide at least two references • Not seeking full-time employment • Has steady, ongoing work with another family • Comfortable and confident around young children • Reliable, organized, and self-directed If this sounds like a good fit, please reach out and we’d be happy to share more details.
