If you are looking for interesting and challenging work, at a company committed to its people, find out more about what Aviso has to offer at www.aviso.ca.

The Opportunity:

We’re looking to fill an opening for a Content Writer, Asset Management, to join our Communications team.

Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Communications, the Content Writer, Asset Management is responsible for translating complex asset management topics into clear, compliant, customer-centric content that helps advisors and investors find, understand, and act on the right information. You’ll bring a strong point of view on digital-first storytelling, writing for AEO (Answer Engine Optimization), GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) and SEO, and support continuous optimization based on performance insights.

Who you are:

  • Service – You put your clients’ needs first. You advocate service excellence, and work to deliver client-centric solutions, and proactively develop strategic partnerships that allow Aviso Wealth to become a trusted advisor and partner
  • Execution – You are committed to achieving your goals and to succeed. This includes focusing on “getting things done”, as well as recognizing and taking advantage of opportunities as they arise. You are consistently looking for ways to improve your personal best and see value in continuous improvement. You take accountability for your actions and learn from mistakes
  • Collaboration – You work collaboratively with others with the common goal of driving positive results. Making meaningful contributions to your team to achieve organizational goals is a priority. You proactively encourage collaboration, build trust and inclusion, and work to establish effective relationships both inside and outside of the organization

What your day looks like:

  • Plan, write, edit, and publish digital-first content that supports Asset Management go-to-market plans (e.g., product launches, campaigns, seasonal themes, advisor programs)
  • Create short- and long-form content across owned channels (e.g., web pages, email, social posts, landing pages) and support paid/partner placements with copy aligned to channel best practices
  • Write for AEO/GEO and SEO by structuring content for discoverability, clarity, and direct answers (e.g., FAQs, snippet-ready copy, headings, schema-aware formats as guided by digital team standards)
  • Partner with Product Marketing, Content Marketing, Digital, Compliance/Legal, and Product (squad) teammates to develop content that is accurate, compliant, and customer centric
  • Operate within a squad environment: participate in working sessions, manage a content backlog, estimate effort, and deliver iteratively within sprint timelines
  • Translate asset management concepts (e.g., performance, risk, portfolio construction, active/passive, fund positioning, asset allocation, fees, distribution) into plain-language, benefit-led stories for target audiences (advisors, intermediaries, investors)
  • Ensure adherence to brand voice, style guidelines, accessibility, and regulatory requirements
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by documenting repeatable processes, templates, and playbooks for content production and optimization

Requirements

Your experience and skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Marketing, Business, or related field
  • 3 to 5 years’ of experience writing and editing marketing content in a digital-first environment
  • Demonstrated experience writing for SEO and AEO/GEO, including structuring content for search intent, featured snippets/answer formats, and scannability
  • Experience within wealth management or investment industry is required, plus working knowledge of asset management concepts and terminology (mutual funds/ETFs, investment mandates, performance and risk, portfolio construction)
  • Highly proficient writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a portfolio that includes web-first content and conversion-oriented copy
  • Comfort collaborating with product squads and cross-functional stakeholders; experience working in agile-like workflows (preferred)
  • Ability to translate complex topics into clear, customer-friendly language while maintaining accuracy and compliance
  • Strong organizational skills: able to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and reviews/approvals in a regulated environment
  • Fluent communication skills in English are required and bilingual skills in French are an asset
