Responsibilities:
To develop and grow business prospects and customer relationships for products & services within the Epiroc portfolio
- Manage and coordinate the introduction of new products into the market with a focus on equipment, automation, and digitalization.
- Champion the development of a territory management plan to increase Epiroc’s market share of Northwestern Ontario through direct or indirect channels
- To call on all customers in the Thunder Bay, Wawa and Geraldton & surrounding area. Note: The candidate will be responsible for all contractors working on customer properties.
- Keep Regional Manager and National Sales Manager informed about market conditions and development in Salesforce.
- Assist inventory manager to make sure that the warehouse has the right inventory and products are accounted for.
- To provide leadership to the organization to ensure a good return for both the client and the company.
- To implement guidelines and procedures for contracts, service shop and products in order to minimize waste and increase performance of personnel and equipment.
- To issue monthly follow-ups on contract and product performance, (month-end report)
- Co-operate with technical department
- Assist A/R department in collection procedures.
- Provide feedback to the Product Company on market, customer, and product needs / development
- To provide technical solutions for drilling applications
- Employ management techniques that maximize cost efficiency for the client.
- Organize and schedule pro-active test drilling with the purpose of improving our chances for obtaining new business, as well as reactive trouble shooting, with the purpose of retaining existing business.
- Investigate complaints and inquiries on all product lines - Education of customers on proper use of products, best practice and establish procedures where necessary.

Knowledge/Education:
- 5 years of construction or mining related education and / or work equivalent.
- 5 years of sales and marketing in the construction or mining business or work equivalent
- Experience working in the Surface and Underground Drilling Products and Parts & Service business lines along with prior Account Management experience within Epiroc will be considered asset
Skills and Abilities:
- General knowledge of Epiroc products & applications along with the construction / mining market in Canada
- A proven track record of achieving growth in business market development along with customer share
- Experience in the construction / mining industry will be considered an asset
- Superior skills in customer relations & sales with an aptitude to hunt for new business
- Portrays experience in market research & development
- Possess a high degree of technical ability & initiative
- Ability to travel throughout the region at a % minimum
- Portrays superior customer service skills
