Job description
Become a champion for Indigenous wellness as a Senior Client Care Worker, providing crucial support to men experiencing homelessness. In this full-time role, you will oversee day-to-day operations and empower your team while addressing the diverse needs of your clients in a culturally sensitive manner. This position requires exceptional communication skills and a thorough understanding of community resources alongside crisis intervention expertise. You will manage team documentation, ensure safety, and facilitate meaningful interactions between clients and staff. Your leadership will foster an environment where clients can thrive and find the resources they need. Key Responsibilities: • Support clients in crisis and address immediate needs • Oversee daily operations ensuring safety and well-being • Verify documentation and maintain electronic records • Delegate tasks and mentor team members • Engage in crisis management and conflict de-escalation Requirements: • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral • Deep understanding of cultural traditions and community issues • Experience in a shelter environment required • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and databases • Background check necessary for employment Elevate client care through compassionate leadership and impactful community connections while navigating diverse challenges in shelter support. #J-18808-Ljbffr
