Nous recherchons un(e) Chef(fe) Ingénieur(e) pour jouer un rôle stratégique au sein d’un programme aéronautique de nouvelle génération. À titre d’autorité technique principale, vous serez responsable de l’intégrité globale, de la performance, de la sécurité et de la certification de l’aéronef. Responsabilités principales 🔹 Autorité technique au niveau de l’aéronef
  • Définir et maintenir l’architecture technique globale
  • Superviser la décomposition des systèmes et les interfaces
  • Gérer la configuration de référence
  • Prendre les décisions finales concernant la conception et les risques techniques
🔹 Gouvernance technique et intégration
  • Assurer l’intégration complète des sous-systèmes (structures, propulsion, avionique, systèmes, etc.)
  • Résoudre les enjeux interfonctionnels
  • Garantir l’alignement avec les exigences globales du programme
🔹 Revues de conception et prise de décision
  • Présider et approuver les revues clés (SRR, PDR, CDR)
  • Définir les critères d’entrée et de sortie des phases
  • Approuver les changements de conception et les interfaces
🔹 Sécurité et certification
  • Assurer l’alignement avec les exigences de certification (FAA, EASA ou équivalent)
  • Participer aux analyses de sécurité (FHA, PSSA, SSA)
  • Représenter le programme auprès des autorités réglementaires
🔹 Interface avec la direction et les parties prenantes
  • Communiquer les enjeux techniques, risques et décisions
  • Représenter l’ingénierie auprès de la direction, des clients et partenaires
  • Contribuer à la planification stratégique et aux jalons du programme
🔹 Leadership et culture d’ingénierie
  • Encadrer et mentorer les leaders techniques
  • Mettre en place les meilleures pratiques et standards
  • Promouvoir une culture de rigueur, de sécurité et de collaboration
Profil recherché
  • Baccalauréat ou diplôme supérieur en génie (aérospatial, mécanique, électrique ou connexe)
  • Minimum de 25 ans d’expérience en ingénierie
  • Minimum de 15 ans en développement d’aéronefs ou systèmes aérospatiaux
  • Expérience en tant que Chef(fe) Ingénieur(e), Directeur(trice) technique ou rôle équivalent
  • Expertise en intégration de systèmes aéronautiques complexes
  • Maîtrise des cadres de certification (FAA, EASA)
  • Connaissance des normes ARP4754A et ARP4761
  • Leadership reconnu, capacité décisionnelle et vision stratégique
  • Excellentes aptitudes en communication et collaboration

We are seeking a Chief Engineer to play a strategic role in a next-generation aircraft program. As the primary technical authority, you will be responsible for the overall integrity, performance, safety, and certification of the aircraft. Key Responsibilities 🔹 Aircraft-level technical authority
  • Define and maintain overall system architecture
  • Oversee system decomposition and interface definitions
  • Manage configuration baseline
  • Make final decisions on design trade-offs and technical risks
🔹 Technical governance & integration
  • Ensure full integration across all subsystems
  • Resolve cross-functional technical challenges
  • Align engineering outputs with program requirements
🔹 Design reviews & decision-making
  • Lead and approve major design reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR)
  • Define phase entry and exit criteria
  • Approve design changes and system interfaces
🔹 Safety & certification
  • Ensure alignment with certification frameworks (FAA, EASA or equivalent)
  • Participate in safety analyses (FHA, PSSA, SSA)
  • Represent technical matters with regulatory authorities
🔹 Executive & program interface
  • Communicate technical risks, trade-offs, and progress
  • Interface with leadership, clients, and partners
  • Support program planning and milestone execution
🔹 Engineering leadership & culture
  • Mentor engineering leaders and technical teams
  • Establish best practices and standards
  • Promote a culture of rigor, safety, and accountability
Profile
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or related field
  • 25+ years of engineering experience
  • 15+ years in aircraft or advanced aerospace system development
  • Experience as Chief Engineer, Technical Director, or equivalent
  • Strong expertise in aircraft systems integration
  • Deep knowledge of certification frameworks (FAA, EASA)
  • Familiarity with ARP4754A / ARP4761 standards
  • Strong leadership, decision-making, and strategic thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
